The MSA Altair 5x is a portable gas meter fitted with Analyte Specific Sensors for measuring Oxygen, Hydrogen Sulfide, and Carbon Monoxide, a Combustible Gas Indicator for measuring LEL, and a Photo Ionization Detector for measuring Total Hydrocarbon Content. We use a 10.6 eV lamp in our PID. Meters are calibrated daily prior to use with calibration gas of a known concentration.

The RKI GX-6000 is a portable gas meter with six sensor slots that can be changed for a specific purpose. Pictured above is a Benzene specific model fitted with a 10.0 eV lamp for the PID. At the pump location it is fitted with a scrubber tube to remove impurities while measuring benzene. This instrument configuration for Benzene has a Limit of Detection of 0.01 ppm which makes it suitable for the ACGIH TLV of 0.02 ppm.

The Dräger Accuro Pump is an accordion style pump that draws a 100 ml sample per compression. Dräger tubes are colorimetric analyte specific detection tubes that change color in the presence of a specific analyte to measure concentration of analyte in sample. Dräger produces gas detection tubes for over 180 gases, and the system can be utilized for almost 400 substances.
