Whitney, a SUNY Maritime College alumna, holds a Bachelor's of Science in Marine Environmental Sciences alongside a USCG 3/M Unlimited License. After growing up in the Finger Lakes Region of New York, Whitney's career journey led her to Philadelphia, PA.
From 2017-2024, she advanced her career within a ship repair facility in the Navy Yard working as a Safety Professional and Quality Assurance Manager for both the Boston and Philadelphia locations. Her focus on maintaining rigorous quality standards has been crucial for smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
After training to become a NFPA Certified Marine Chemist for four years, she became CMC #747 in July of 2024. As a NFPA Certified Marine Chemist with extensive hands-on training, Whitney combines practical experience with theoretical knowledge to ensure worker and vessel safety. Her proficiency in analytical chemistry, demonstrated through daily use of instrumentation, underscores her dedication to upholding safety standards. As an expert in safety regulations, including NFPA 306, OSHA 1910, 1915, and 1926 standards, she insures both compliance and safety.
